After attending the last two, I knew there was going to be a ton of surprises in store, and Revolver delivered. During Trivium’s set, Rob Flynn of Machine Head, and Corey Taylor of Slipknot/Stone Sour jumped on stage to cover Metallica’s “Creeping Death”! Hell even Johnny f*ckin Depp was on hand to jam with Marilyn Manson! From the Black Carpet to the encore, the buzz is it was another epic award show! Twisted Sister frontman, Dee Snider, is most notably known for donning multi-colored shoulder pads with matching make-up and changing the Heavy Metal scene completely in the 80′s with songs like “We’re Not Gonna Take It” and “I Wanna Rock”. Oh ya, he also might of single handedly saved Rock music by taking on the PMRC back in ’85 to make sure that not just Rock music, but all music couldn’t be censored.

And lately it was announced that he will join the Black Veil Brides to perform “I Wanna Rock” at the 2012 Revolver Golden God Awards! I don’t really remember how I found them… I think I was reading some worldwide rock music article back in 2008 or 2009 and it mentioned this rock band out of Denmark. It was the name that caught my attention. “VOLBEAT“. Like the volume of the beat, or maybe some badass Danish word for “High Volume”?
