Five Finger Death Punch Live At Mayhem Fest Kickoff (Pics + Review)

Ivan Moody Five Finger Death Punch Mayhem Fest

One thing is for sure at a Five Finger Death Punch show, you’re going to have a killer time.  The Rockstar Energy Mayhem Festival kickoff date in San Bernardino was no different. The band showed up to play, and the crowd showed up to party.

It had already been a long, hot, dirty day at the San Manuel Amphitheater in San Bernardino. By the time Five Finger Death Punch was set to blow up the stage, the crowd had already endured 100+ degree heat all day. You would think it would be about time to take a seat and kick back a bit. Not according to FFDP. When you attend their show, you’re expected to give the same amount of energy as they do, and it’s a shit ton of energy.

Jumping right into the new song “Lift Me Up” from the upcoming Wrong Side Of Hell, Righteous Side Of Hell album, life was kick started right back into crowd. Five Finger Death Punch tore right through hit after hit. Bad Company, White Knuckle, Under And Over It and more.  Also in killer FFDP fashion, Ivan brought up young kids from the crowd to hang out with the band for a few songs. Just and FYI, if you’re a parent bringing your kid to Mayhem, make sure to get close to the stage for their set!

All in all it was a stellar performance for the bands first Mayhem set of 2013! Check out the Five Finger Death Punch photo Gallery from Mayhem Fest 2013 below!
