Moments after their very first Rockstar Energy Mayhem set of 2013, I joined Motionless In White on their tour bus. The band was taking a quick break, and I sat down with front man, Chris Motionless, to talk about the show, the new record, and what it was like to finally connect to a Mayhem crowd.
Every tour/show is important to any band, but for Motionless In White the Mayhem Festival might what they have been looking for to make that next step. As I walked past what seemed like a never ending line of fans waiting to meet the band at the merch booth the only thing that surprised me is why this band hasn’t been here before? Bands like MIW are clawing their way to that larger scale of exposure, and even radio airplay. It’s exciting and a bit overwhelming at the same time, as Chris Motionless explains in the interview below.
It was only a few weeks prior that I spoke to Chris about the new MIW album, INFAMOUS. It was time to go a bit deeper about his inspiration for the album, and why this band, and lifestyle is so important not only to him, but the Motionless In White fans.
