New Drowning Pool Sounds Nothing Like Drowning Pool (Audio)

Drowning Pool is now streaming a new song titled ‘In Memory Of‘ with their new (fourth) lead singer, Jasen Moreno.

Moreno is the bands fourth lead singer to date after the departure of Ryan McCombs who has rejoined his old band, Soil, after six years with Drowning pool. Moreno formally fronted the Texas rock band “The Suicide Hook”, and his voice (at least in this song ‘In Memory Of‘) seems very different to anything Drowning Pool has done before.

Drowning Pool guitarist CJ Pierce commented on Moreno’s voice via their Facebook page:

“Jasen has brought us not only a new voice, but a new fire to the Drowning Pool sound. We can’t wait to get the new music out there to everyone with the live show.”

Drowning Pool will be releasing a fifth studio album in early 2013.
