I’ve never had a whole lot of respect for today’s rap “artists”. With the exception of very few (Tech N9ne, Yelawolf, Childish Gambino, Public Enemy etc) I don’t see a whole lot of work or talent that goes into rap music anymore. Pick up a f*cking instrument, learn to use that shit, then come talk to me. Well, if it wasn’t easy enough before to step into a million dollar studio and lay down some “dope rhymes”, a new smart phone app has come along that takes care of all grunt work. All you have to do is come up with some shitty lyrics, and it will do the rest.

AUTORAP from Smule takes your incoherent rambling and edits, processes, and places it alongside a beat of your choice. You literally do nothing but say whatever you want into the mic, and it takes care of the rest. Earlier today on FACEBOOK, I told fans to write words/comments so I could take them and prove that this rap thing was easy with this new app. Here are some of the words I got: Bikini, Whodini, Orange, LMFAO, and Weenie. I took those words, along with one comment and rattled them off into the app and then let it do its thing. Here is the audio results.
