I knew the Dirty Heads had a new record coming out today, I just didn’t realize that they were have a release party presented by KROQ just down the road from me at Doheny Beach. While scrolling through my twitter feed, I noticed that KROQ had given the details and I scrambled my gear and headed down to the ocean.

For a Tuesday afternoon the place was packed by noon. Young and old scattered the lawn waiting for the Dirty Heads to hit the stage. Being from Huntington Beach, they obviously had a huge following.  The set list seemed fairly short. Around 30-40 minutes or so, but they only played one or two new songs from the latest album, Cabin By The Sea. From what I recognized, most of the music was from Any Port In A Storm.
